JOAN-E RAPINE

Trainer & Self-Regulation Group Coordinator

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a registered clinical supervisor in Arizona. I completed my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have been trained in Sand Tray Therapy, TRM®, EMDR, Mind Body Medicine, therapeutic expressive art, EFT/TTT (tapping), IFS, and Capacitar International. I specialize in addressing issues related to past, current, and generational trauma, life transitions, addiction, and self-exploration. I currently work with adult individuals, couples and groups at Pascua Yaqui Tribe in Tucson, Arizona. I also have a small private practice where I mostly provide supervision and Sand Tray Therapy workshops.

I joined FAS because it is the right thing to do. As an Israeli, I vividly remember the toll of war and believe it is our global humanitarian responsibility to provide support where possible. Through FAS I get to support those who care for others, hopefully diminishing the potential for a lasting trauma effect. My work with FAS includes co-facilitating support groups and workshops, and individual support as needed. It has been an honor and pleasure to engage with such resilient and proud individuals as the FAS Ukrainian group and workshop participants.
