JOANNA WROBLEWSKA
Therapeutic Coordinator
Joanna is a visual artist, expressive arts therapist, and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) teacher based in Belgium. She holds a Ph.D. degree in visual arts and an MA degree in Expressive Arts Therapy with a minor in Psychology. Currently, Joanna works at her own art studio, providing trauma-sensitive therapeutic support for both individuals and groups. Her main interest lies in migration, displacement, and all aspects of belonging. She supports people in creating well-being using imagination, play, and different forms of expression.
In the last couple of months, Joanna has been co-leading FAS self-care & compassion groups. Currently, she prepares herself to take on new roles and provide various types of individual and group support for FAS beneficiaries.
Joanna strongly believes in serving both individuals and communities as a source of inspiration, wholeness, and deep intercultural connection. She sees FAS as a unique organization bringing together extraordinary mental health professionals, who simply care about others. Her mission at FAS is to hold safe and inclusive spaces for all those who need mental and psychoeducational support in times of war and crisis.
