About the event
Workshop Title
Starting the School Year with Narrative Therapy: Hope in the Face of Adversity
Workshop Description
As we have started a new school year, it’s essential to find ways to build resilience and hope. This workshop offers an introduction to narrative therapy, an interactive and experiential approach that uses the power of storytelling to help individuals reframe their experiences. By examining your personal story from a distance, you can explore new perspectives and create more hopeful narratives, fostering positive change in both mindset and daily life. In this workshop, you will learn the foundational principles of narrative therapy and engage in a hands-on activity designed to help you reshape your story. Whether you are preparing for the challenges of the coming seasons or seeking ways to support others, this session will provide valuable tools for navigating difficult times. Please bring paper, a pen, and a few colored pencils or markers for the interactive exercise.
