Kateryna Polishchuk

I am Kateryna, an intern at First Aid of the Soul.

I am pursuing dual degrees: a B.A. in Psychology at American University Kyiv and a degree in Economics at Kyiv National University, which allows me to integrate psychological insights with broader socioeconomic perspectives.

Prior to this, I volunteered as a communicator at the Foundation for Regional Initiatives (FRI), facilitating communication between different departments of the organization. I was also selected to participate in the online entrepreneurship program "Girls Business Academy 1.0," where I gained foundational business knowledge and practical experience.

Motivation to join:

I want to join First Aid of the Soul because the organization's values align with mine. I believe the time has come for me to contribute to the wellbeing of Ukrainian people.
At the beginning of the war, I needed psychological support myself. Volunteers were there for me when I needed them most. That experience showed me how important it is to have someone who genuinely cares and listens during difficult times.
Now it's my turn to give back.
